The Tinman Amplifier

The Tin Man was born on a stormy night in mid September.  The rain hit hard on the tin roof as his locally harvested black walnut body began to take shape. He started to come alive right there on the work bench — but as it is in legend, the Tin Man needed a brain. But not just any brain, it had to be intelligent, reliable and proven. We mounted the clean, classic and legendary ’65 Princeton reverb chassis and then shifted our focus towards his heart and soul. Princeton’s historically come with 10″ speakers but the Tin Man wanted to live a more full life filled with crystal clear warmth.  As we put the final screws through the upgraded 12″ Celestion Heritage he was finally ready to sing.  Our jaws dropped when we plugged him in, hit the reverb switch on his matching pedal and he spoke to us for the first time in his one of a kind smokey smooth voice.
